How Jute and cotton are favourable for the Heart, Mind and Soul?

Jute and Cotton are two of the fabrics that grow in abundance. They are the warmest element to live with as well as they keep benefiting us after they are rotten in soil. The dry long strip of a vegetable plant that is jute is natural such as cotton and both of them are biodegradable in nature and thus are eco-friendly.

Everything which is eco friendly is nature friendly and is therefore planet-friendly automatically. Everyone of us wants a life full of things that helps us to grow our heart, mind and soul with peace and happiness. Think of something which grows, live, die and even after death helps us to live disease-free. Jute and cotton are two of them. They are from hundreds of years in human civilization. They helped our ancestors live their life using them to wear, lay on and cover up with. It’s been like a skin to the human being from their discoveries. They don’t just look like skin but the texture and the benefits of them are equivalent to the skin. They are the gift of God to help living beings fight with obstacles to live on. A gift that can be used in our everyday life and after once degraded, helps our soil to become more fertile and helps other plants to grow more.

                               “I weave your name on the loom of my

                                     mind,

              To clean and soften ten thousand

                                  Threads

              And to comb the twists and knots of

                            My thoughts.....’

The above lines are from a poem of great poet, philosopher and a Sufi saint Kabir Das, who was a weaver of cotton. He used to weave cotton occupationally and write poems interpreting life with weaving it. In his interpretation cotton is the skin he weaves to warp and wept as God weave our skin. Kabir sings ;

                       Jheeni jheeni beeni chadariya,

                      Kaahey ka taana, kaahey kee bharni,

                     Koun taar se beeni chadariya?

“It’s nothing, I just use cotton to warp and wept but how God who is the master of weaving all of us with this finest fabric called skin and how he warp and wept it which covers us whole our lives?”

As we know in the process of biodegradation, jute degrades 100% in one to two years. It recycles in even low energy. We can reuse them and can recycle them for our survival in daily life.

The natural fibres of jute and cotton bags are in Australian jute and cotton bags, thus making them eco-friendly as well as biodegradable in nature. In durability and lasting for long, jute and cotton bags are much immortal than plastic bags, which are not even natural, biodegradable and thus not eco friendly. So, why use plastic? There is no need to use them. It’s not just unnatural but also harmful for our aqua co-existing species and our water resources. Australian jute and cotton bags produce their product to help mankind in their everyday life, to develop natural resources to be healthy in abundance as well as allows other species to live without pain and to help them to live their life without contamination or unadulterated. As Kabir says,

                  ‘.....no more shall I weave a garment of

                                     Pain.”
